Jeremiah 32:27

Philip’s promise verse for the new year was Jeremiah 32:27

Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?

We asked him, well, what is the answer to this question?  His response “Absolutely nothing!”

Philip was an amazing encouragement and blessing of faith to us over the past week especially.  As we prepared for his surgery this morning, we  again reminded him of this promise verse.  While we were in the surgery waiting room,  he spoke to other toddlers and their parents.  We could hear him encouraging other parents.  “This is my 16th surgery.  My brother and sister are worried about me, but I know I’ll be fine.”   Philip also said out loud in the waiting room to Santhosh and myself,” Why don’t you guys tell everybody how God helped me in my surgeries and healed me?”  So we took a few minutes to share with a family sitting next to us about how God worked marvelously in Philip’s life in the past, and how we know God will continue to work in the future.

Philip had no trouble coming out of anesthesia.  He takes a little longer to recover from it, but he did well.  Plus, we did NOT have to go to ICU this trip!  Plus, we were discharged home due to his recovery. Our God is a prayer answering God.

I still have a lot to learn from my little son.  It is so true how God said in his word, we must have the faith of a child.  I pray that my faith will be increased in these days.

Thank you so much for your prayers, love, emails, and text messages of support.

God bless you!

Susan
